Ole Miss Softball Complex Policies

BASICS:

• Admission to all regular season Ole Miss homes games is free.
• Fans are required to wear a face covering upon entry into the facility, while in transit around the concourse and may only remove them when at their seat.
• Smoking is prohibited on the campus of The University of Mississippi including in and around the Ole Miss Softball Complex.
• In case of an emergency inside the Ole Miss Softball Complex please dial 911.
• Abusive language is prohibited.
• Throwing of objects onto the field is prohibited.
• Entering of team areas and the field is prohibited.
• Lost and found articles should be turned into ushers and/or security personnel. Items may be claimed by speaking with the event manager, or after the game by contacting the University Police Department.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

• Fans are required to wear a face covering upon entry into the facility, while in transit around the concourse and may only remove them when at their seat.
• Guests should not enter the stadium if they display any COVID-19 symptoms as outlined by the CDC.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the venue.

CLEAR BAG POLICY:

Ole Miss Athletics and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) has a clear bag policy regulating the size and type of bag that may be carried into all arenas.

The following bags are permitted:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” (approximately the size of a hand).
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the southwest entrance of The Pavilion.
  • A logo no larger than 4.5” x 3.4” may be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag.

PROHIBITED ITEMS:

• Bags that do not meet the SEC Clear Bag Policy
• Alcohol
• Weapons
• Outside food, beverages, coolers or containers
• Folding chairs, chairback seats with armrests and chairback seats larger than 16”
• Poles, sticks, umbrellas and broom sticks
• Unauthorized banners and signs larger than 8 1/2” x 11”
• Artificial noisemakers (air horns, cowbells, whistles, etc.)
• Video cameras and drones
• Full face coverings
• Non-service animals
• Strollers and children’s seats
• Ole Miss Athletics reserves the right to prohibit any item deemed dangerous or inhibiting the overall fan experience.
• Tents with corporate logos

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT:

• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.
• Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment.
• Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of language or gestures: (1) concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin, or (2) to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.
• Interference with the progress of the event, going onto the field, or throwing any object onto the field.
• Failing to follow instructions of arena personnel.
• Verbal or physical harassment.
• Smoking of any kind (including vaping).
• Bringing prohibited items into the arena or the parking areas.
• Behavior that detracts from the enjoyment of fellow guests.
• Attempting to sit in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat.
• Conduct that endangers spectators or participants.
• Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons.
• Failing to comply with arena policies, including policies requiring face coverings and requirements to maintain physical distancing.
